With my experience in the world of Christmas light installation. The questions comes up quite a lot. Why LED? First according to Websters dictionary the definition for LED (light-emitting diode) is: “a semiconductor diode that emits light when a voltage is applied to it and that is used especially in electronic devices (as for an indicator light).” Lasting over 50 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs they can stay lit for upwards to 50,000 hours according to most manufactures that’s over 5.5 years at 24 hours a day! From an installation point of view that means no more worries after you buy your first set of lights from LIGHTINGBYUS. The fact that the lights will be custom fit to your home is just an added bonus to the Christmas light season. Incandescent lights will also break easily causing entire strands of lights to go out. Then you have to deal with all of the stress of finding the “one” bulb that is out, and replacing it; so that the strand of lights still work. LED commercial grade lights will not go out if just one or even five of the lights need to be replace due to breakage. So when I’m asked why LED the answer is always the same.
